Installing Snap is easy. First, make sure you meet the system requirements. Snap currently runs only on Windows XP Service Pack 2 and above, and Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 and above. We plan on extending it to more platforms soon. We're not sure about the specific hardware requirements yet, but you should be able to run it with a ~1GHz processor and 256 MB of RAM.

Second, make sure you have version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework installed. If you don't have it, you can get it from Windows Update (there should be a Windows Update item in your Start menu) or download it from the Microsoft Developer Network site. Here is a link for the .NET Framework for x86 architectures (if you don't know what architecture your processor is, it's probably x86; links for other architectures are at the bottom of that page).

Once you have the .NET Framework installed, just download Snap, then extract the contents of the archive anywhere you like (typically, programs go in your "Program Files" directory, which is normally C:\Program Files\).
